FIH anuncia los equipos All Star 2011, masculino y femenino.

Los internacionales españoles Santi Freixa y Ramón Alegre han sido incluidos en el ”All Star” de la Federación Internacional de Hockey (FIH). La temporada pasada David Alegre, centrocampista actualmente en el R.C.Polo, fue el único español presente en la selección de los mejores.

36 jugadores y 4 entrenadores componen los equipos -masculino y femenino- de los mejores jugadores del mundo durante los últimos 12 meses. La selección se ha realizado mediante la votación de los aficionados en la web de la Federación Internacional de Hockey entre los días 12 y 21 de diciembre de 2011. Destacan los jugadores Jamie Dwyer (AUS), Teun de Nooijer (NED) y Luciana Aymar (ARG) asiduos en los All Star con seis nominaciones. Alemania, con cinco jugadores en el equipo ideal, es el país más representado. En categoría femenina, es Argentina, con cuatro seleccionadas.
